My Favorite Things!

I often get asked for my favorite products so I thought that I'd make a list!  Please note that I only ever promote products that I use and LOVE.  If you purchase these products through my links below please know that I will get a small commission for sharing my favorites with you.  Enjoy!

Food Products, Vitamins, and Supplements:

Greens First - Do you have a hard time getting enough veggies?  I love my powdered greens and this one mixes up and tastes great.  Instant energy and nutrition!  I add 1/2 scoop into my daily post workout shake and have the other 1/2 scoop sometime throughout the day when I need an energy pick me up.

Maca Powder - Good for libido - enough said lol..

New Chapter Vitamins, fish oil, and Zyflamend (anti-inflammatory), and Tumeric (also an anti-inflammatory) are the vitamins that my hubby and I use and love.

Smarty Pants Kids Vitamins with Omega 3 and Probiotic gummies are the vitamins and probiotics that we choose for our kids.

Chocolate & Regular Powdered Peanut Butter -  I wouldn't compare powdered PB's to actual nut butter as they've been de-fatted and most have some sugar added.  I like to use this as a treat post workout when I need some sugar to replenish muscle glycogen.

Royal Jelly - Royal Jelly has been shown to increase immunity and fertility.  I believe that this Royal Jelly has got some honey in it which makes it taste good.  Royal Jelly is a nutritious way to get your sugars pre & post workout.  You don't need much, just a tsp will do.

Bee Pollen - Rich in vitamins, minerals, proteins, and fatty acids, bee pollen is a powerful antibacterial, anti fungal which strengthens the immune system and reduces inflammation.

Sweet leaf stevia - My go to chemical free, natural zero calorie/sugar free sweetener.  Not all stevia products are created equal, definitely need to read the labels!

Kitchen Tools:

Nutri-bullet - we use this constantly.  Amazing for shakes, soups, salad dressings, you name it.  Super easy clean up, you just throw the cups and blades in the dishwasher.

Veggie spiralizer - makes it so easy to spiralize veggies to use in place of pasta or to make home cooked curly fries.  Get more nutrition from your food by choosing veggies πŸ˜‰

Avocado Saver & Slicer - these get daily use in our house.  Keep that leftover avocado fresh and make clean cuts of avocado instead of a mushy mess.

Banana Case - so that you you don't end up with a mashed banana

Reusable Produce Bags - the amount of plastic in our environment is staggering..  I do my very best to eliminate all single use plastic.  These bags are fantastic!

Re-usable snack bags - great for dry nuts and kids snack bags.

Funkins reusable napkins - good for the environment and so cute!  We have quite a collection of these and use them in lunches and at home.  Every meal is brighter with a cute napkin and the fact that we're being environmentally friendly makes us all feel good.

Funkins lunch bags - just like the cute printed napkins, Funkins also offers neoprene lunch bags in a variety of great prints.  These bags are durable and washable and make toting lunch and snacks easier and more fun.

Workout Gear:

Mini Bands - and the Hip Circle great for targeted glute exercises and for using to keep your squat form solid.  Mine come with me everywhere.

Contraband workout gloves womens & mens - protect your hands while you work out with these cute gloves!

Rumble roller and trigger point balls - get deep into those tough to get at trigger points and release the tension!

Skin Care:

I love this Neutrogena cleanser - super milky and gentle and won't strip the natural oils from your skin.

Oz Naturals moisturizer - one of the few moisturizers that doesn't irritate my skin.  My skin care routine is pretty basic!

Oz naturals Vitamin C serum - I use after scrubbing, let it absorb in and then use the moisturizer.

Oz Naturals Retinol Serum - I use this after scrubbing (about once a week) alternating this with the Vitamin C serum

Oz Naturals Eye Cream - I keep this in the fridge to keep it cool and put it on in the morning when I'm feeling tired and see those dreaded circles!

I use this vegetable glycerine as a base for under my makeup - keeps things from settling into fine and not so fine lines.

As far as body moisturizer goes, I love this Better Life Calm Cool & Collected as well as using just straight up coconut oil.

I use a touch of vegetable glycerine and this camu powder mixed together as a facial scrub about once a week.  Camu powder is potent vitamin C to help fight free radicals and leave your skin glowing and fresh.  I find a little scrubbing is good however too much can cause irritation and lines to be more prominent so more is not better πŸ˜‰

Hair Care:

Giovanni Hair care line.  We use the smooth as silk line as well as the tea tree occasionally for more clarifying.  We use the hair spray and detangler/leave in conditioner too.

Jason Naturals aloe moisturizing shampoo & conditioner is another line that we are loving over here.

I obtained my Personal Training and Health Coach Certifications from The American Council on Exercise. I also have a nutrition certification through Precision Nutrition, which is a program that seemed tailor made for me as they teach a common sense approach to nutrition that is closely aligned with how I live. Obtaining these certifications along with the development of life coaching skills have allowed me to feel confident in my knowledge and ability to help my clients find their way.
