Oatmeal Banana Bites – Healthy Recipe

These yummy little nuggets don't require any baking (right up my alley)...I hope that you enjoy them!

Oatmeal Banana Bites

Ingredients
  1. 1 1/2 cups gluten free rolled oats (quick or regular flake - I used Bob's Redmill)
  2. 2 mashed bananas
  3. 2 tbsp ground flaxseed meal (again Bob's Redmill)
  4. 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips (I use Pascha 88% dark)
  5. 2 - 3 tbsp's of almond or peanut butter (I use Once Again)
  6. 2 tbsp's honey
  7. 1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Simply combine all of the ingredients, form into small balls (about tbsp size), let set in the refrigerator for an hour or more and enjoy!
Notes
  1. I have also made & like these with some protein powder added. Add in a scoop of chocolate, vanilla, or unsweetened protein powder to increase the protein content.
